Reach for the Stars Scholarship

This International Women’s Day, we’re honored to introduce you to Aanyu Jemimah — a pioneer in the making and a Sunshine Scholar.

Jemimah is driven by faith, discipline, and a bold dream: to become the first female engineer in her entire village. After discovering her natural gift for physics, she set her sights on engineering — inspired by women who dared to lead and determined to change what’s possible for girls in her community.

In Jemimah’s world, educated women often face stigma and discouragement. But she is committed to rewriting that story. She believes education is not shame — it is empowerment. Through her journey, she hopes to mentor young girls, challenge harmful narratives, and one day help solve critical issues in her community like access to clean water and healthcare.

Jemimah is part of Noonday’s Sunshine Scholarship, a program supporting students pursuing higher education and continuing a legacy of investing in education to help communities flourish.

Through our Reach for the Stars Necklace, $10 from every piece sold helps fund Jemimah’s scholarship — bringing her one step closer to her degree and her dream.

This is a chance to stand with Jemimah, champion girls’ education, and remind the next generation that their ambition matters.

Thank you for helping her — and so many others — reach for the stars.
